Enjoy a delicious meal and connect with friends, family, and our church community. After dinner, stay for a variety of activities, including adult programming, children's activities, and choir rehearsals. We look forward to seeing you there!

A TIME FOR FOOD, FAITH, AND COMMUNITY
As we enter a new season of Wednesday nights, I want us to do so with the reminder that we have so much common ground among us, even in the middle of our diversity. We have much to learn and share with one another, and Wednesdays give us this opportunity.
I hope you will join a class. The Discipleship Implementation Team has been working hard to have a good variety, something for everyone, to foster faith and community. I am excited to see what we will discover over the course of the next 12 weeks!

Bible Study: The Book of Revelation: Aug. 26 - Nov 18

Revelation is often one of the most confusing, intimidating, and even frightening books of the Bible—but at its heart is a message of hope. Over 11 weeks, we’ll explore what Revelation reveals about God, Jesus, and what it means to remain faithful in uncertain times.
Creative Arts: Rest Our Brains and Engage Our Bodies: Aug. 26 - Nov. 18

Too often we forget that God created us to be creative! Join us over the course of 11 weeks for a variety of creative arts. From crochet to candy making, you will have a chance to learn and have fun while doing it.

August 26 - September 16: Crochet Skills with the Happy Hookers
September 28 - 30 Knife Skills with Chef Kristi Harvey-Clem
In October and November, we will learn candy making, gift wrapping, and more!
Faith Deconstruction and Reconstruction

What does it mean to “deconstruct” or “reconstruct” faith? This class offers a welcoming space to explore questions, doubts, and changing beliefs as part of a growing faith. Together, we will wrestle with topics such as LGBTQ+ affirmation, women in church leadership, biblical interpretation, and how we engage with people whose beliefs differ from our own. Rather than prescribing conclusions, we will consider different perspectives and the traditions and assumptions that shape what we believe. Join us for honest conversation and faithful reflection as we explore a faith rooted in humility, compassion, justice, and Christlike love.
Book Study: When Religion Becomes Lethal: Aug. 26 - Sept. 30

We all come to conversations about religion carrying assumptions and biases—some we recognize and some we don’t. Using Charles Kimball’s When Religion Becomes Lethal as our guide, we’ll explore Christianity, Judaism, and Islam and consider what happens when religious conviction becomes exclusion, extremism, or even violence. Together, we’ll ask how our faith can lead us instead toward greater understanding, compassion, and peace.
