Beginning Sunday, June 7.
One of the things I love most about 2B is the way people continue to find community here. Some arrive looking for a church home. Some are exploring faith again after time away. Some are simply searching for connection in a world that can feel increasingly disconnected.
But finding your place in a church can sometimes feel overwhelming. Walking into a Sunday School class or small group for the first time takes courage. Even in a welcoming church, it can be hard to know where to begin.
That is why we are starting Connections.
Connections is a short-term Sunday morning gathering designed especially for newcomers, guests, and those who may not yet feel fully connected at 2B. Over a few weeks, we will share stories, get to know one another, learn more about the life and values of our church, and explore the many Sunday morning classes and groups available.
This is not a “membership class.” It is a space for conversation, questions, relationships, and discovery. A place to meet people and begin finding where you might belong.
I will be leading the group personally because I deeply believe belonging matters. Church is not simply about attending worship. It is about building relationships that help us grow in faith, care for one another, and participate together in God’s work of love and reconciliation in the world.
Whether you are brand new, have been visiting for a while, or simply have not yet found your place, I hope you will join us.
Because everyone deserves a place where they are known, welcomed, and connected.
