On the first Thursday evening of every month, a group of dedicated members from Second Baptist Church heads downtown to serve a homemade meal to our friends at St. Benedict's Chapel. These evenings are filled with fellowship, fun, and connection, often featuring piano playing, singing, and lively conversation.
About St. Benedict's Chapel
St. Benedict's is an ecumenical ministry committed to serving the community. It provides dinner every evening and a worship service every Sunday morning. On occasion, a Second B member leads worship and delivers the Sunday morning message, contributing to the spiritual nourishment of the attendees.
Meeting Physical and Spiritual Needs
St. Benedict’s welcomes everyone, whether they come seeking relief from physical hunger or solace for spiritual struggles. Regardless of their reason for attending, all are welcome.
