Marilyn Arland

Organist

Marilyn is honored to serve as organist at Second B. A Lubbock native, she has been involved in the performing arts including Texas Tech Opera Theatre as rehearsal pianist/coach as well as T.T.U. Theatre serving as musical director to many shows including, ” Pirates of Penzance”, “The Magic Flute”, “Showboat”, and “Oklahoma”. Under Chancellor John T. Montford’s Horizon Campaign, she performed and directed special events around the state. Marilyn has played for The Metropolitan Opera and Santa Fe Regional Opera auditions. Locally, she has performed and served as Musical Director for many Cactus Theatre Productions including, “Fiddler on the Roof”, and “The Sound of Music”. Marilyn was also invited to participate in “The Interharmony Music Festival in Tuscany, Italy in 2016.
