This past week I traveled to my hometown of Jacksonville, FL for General Assembly. It was a full week of learning and connecting, with so many amazing churches doing so many amazing ministries. It was a reminder of the connection we have with the larger Baptist world and how God is working through those who are saying yes to God’s call. On a personal note it was wonderful to be with longtime friends, make new friends, and dream with lots of churches. General Assembly 2027 will be in Dallas, June 23-25, and I hope Second Baptist will be well represented. So save the date!
